Previously, Google announced the updated Gemini Nano AI model with multimodality alongside the Google Pixel 9 smartphones, a feature currently exclusive to the Pixel 9 series. However, recent reports suggest that the new Gemini Nano model will soon be available on devices from other manufacturers, including Samsung.

Here's What We Know:

MediaTek has revealed that its new flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset will be optimized for the Gemini Nano's multimodal AI. While it’s not yet clear which smartphones will be the first to feature this chip, hints from Google DeepMind suggest it could be the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.

The multimodal Gemini Nano, developed in collaboration with Google DeepMind, enables devices to better comprehend the context of text, images, audio, and video. The Pixel 9 smartphones utilize this feature in apps like Pixel Screenshots, Pixel Recorder, Talkback, and more.

Earlier, Google DeepMind indicated on its blog that MediaTek is leveraging their technology to enhance the development of its most advanced chips, including the new flagship Dimensity, which will be incorporated into Samsung smartphones.
