Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new budget smartphone, the Redmi 14C 5G.
What We Know So Far
Leaks suggest that the Redmi 14C 5G will offer double the performance of its 4G predecessor, thanks to the more powerful Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor.
The device has already been spotted on Geekbench, showing significantly better results due to this upgraded processor. This means the Redmi 14C 5G will be nearly twice as fast as the 4G version, which used the Helio G81 Ultra chip.
In terms of design, the new model will closely resemble the 4G version, but key upgrades include a 6.88-inch 120Hz display with 720p resolution and a 5160mAh battery. Xiaomi is likely to position this smartphone as a rebranded version of the Redmi 14R 5G, previously launched in China.
The Redmi 14C 5G is expected to launch in India next month.
