New information has recently surfaced about the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card, including its laptop variant.
What We Know
According to a reputable insider from Moore's Law is Dead, the RTX 5090 will feature 24 GB of GDDR7 VRAM. The official launch is slated for the end of the first quarter of 2024.
Leaked details indicate that the laptop version of the RTX 5090 will include a GB203 GPU, with 24 GB of VRAM on a 256-bit bus and a chip area of 377 mm². However, the launch could be delayed as new 3GB GDDR7 modules need to be introduced.
Additionally, there have been rumors about the GeForce RTX 5080, which may come with 16 GB of video memory, while the mid-range RTX 5070 could feature 12 GB of VRAM. It remains unclear whether this will be GDDR6 or GDDR7.
Currently, the company is not providing any comments on its upcoming graphics cards.
