Cybertruck faces a new issue

Tesla has issued its fifth recall of Cybertruck electric vehicles due to ongoing technical issues.

The U.S. manufacturer reported a significant problem in vehicles produced between November 13, 2023, and September 14, 2024.

**Here’s What We Know**

Tesla has identified an issue with Cybertrucks running operating system 2024.32.5.2 and later, manufactured during the specified dates. The problem involves the rearview camera, which experiences a delay of up to 10 seconds before displaying the image when reversing. This delay not only creates a safety hazard on the road but also violates U.S. regulations requiring the rearview image to appear within 2 seconds of engaging reverse.

The company will recall over 27,000 Cybertruck vehicles from dealerships, while those already sold will receive a software update to address the issue.
