Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is generating significant buzz and is poised to impress gamers with its unmatched detail and the unique ability to step outside the cockpit.

Players can expect hundreds of authentic aircraft models and meticulously recreated landscapes from around the globe, made possible through high-resolution satellite imagery, photogrammetry, and cloud technologies.

What We Know So Far

In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, players will have the exciting ability to leave the cockpit and explore open locations, including parks, mountains, and other stunning environments. The Asobo Studio team has significantly enhanced the detail of in-game objects to make this experience immersive.

Gamers will have the chance to experience these new features firsthand before the game’s official release. Microsoft and Asobo Studio are inviting players to sign up for closed technical alpha testing, scheduled for "one weekend in October."

The developers caution that most player data will be shared during testing to help identify and resolve any issues prior to launch. Additionally, it’s important to note that the test version will not include all the content of the final simulator.

You can sign up for testing on a dedicated page.

Please be aware that testing will only be available on PC, and a Microsoft account is required for participation.

 Release Date

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is set to launch on November 19 for PC and Xbox Series X|S, and it will be available in the Game Pass catalog right at launch.
