At the first Samsung Unpacked event of the year, the company teased the upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge, a slimmer addition to the lineup that’s set to be one of the most highly anticipated devices.
Here’s What We Know
Although the official announcement hasn’t happened yet, a range of "confirmed" specs for the phone have already surfaced online.
According to a PandaFlash insider, the Galaxy S25 Edge will feature a 12-megapixel front camera and ultra-thin bezels measuring just 1.32 mm. The display will be shielded with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the body will be crafted from Armor aluminum. Additionally, the device will support Wi-Fi 7 and Pro Scaler technology.
.A standout feature will be the 200-megapixel main camera, likely taken from the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The device will also support 25W wired charging.
While the exact launch date remains unknown, an announcement is expected in May. Samsung has given a partial glimpse of the Galaxy S25 Edge's design during the Unpacked event, though full details have yet to be unveiled. The price is expected to fall between the Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra models.
The smartphone will feature two cutting-edge components: a steam chamber for enhanced cooling, which will be thinner than that of the Galaxy S25, and an LTPO AMOLED display with an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1 to 120 Hz. The peak brightness will reach 2600 nits, while connectivity will be supported by a USB Type-C 3.2 port and Bluetooth 5.4. It will come with 12GB of RAM and UFS 4.0-based internal storage.
