According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Apple is set to launch iOS 18.1 on October 28, 2024.

This update will introduce the first set of Apple Intelligence features for users of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16. Gurman mentions that the release date was pushed back to allow the company extra time to prepare its cloud servers for increased traffic.
In the new version, users can expect enhanced messaging tools, a revamped Siri interface, and a summary of notifications from various apps, including Messages and Mail. Additionally, a new Cleanup tool will be added to the Photos app, utilizing generative artificial intelligence to eliminate unwanted elements from images.
More advanced features, such as ChatGPT support and the ability to create custom emojis through Genmoji, are anticipated in the iOS 18.2 update, which is expected to roll out in December.
An updated version of Siri, offering personalized responses, could be released in early 2025.
